Our Will Writing Process – What to Expect

Your First Appointment

(Please allow up to 1 hour)

During our initial meeting, we’ll take the time to understand why you want a Will and what you would like it to achieve.

We’ll need to discuss the details of your estate, including:

• The value of your property

• Any life insurance policies and how they’re structured

• Investments, pensions, or outstanding debts

• Whether you have children or other dependents to consider

This information allows us to gain a clear picture of your financial and personal circumstances. From there, we can recommend the most appropriate and tax-efficient way to draft your Will, ensuring it reflects your wishes fully.

After Your Appointment

Within 14–21 days, we’ll send you a draft copy of your Will for review. This gives you the opportunity to check that everything is correct. If any changes are needed, we can make amendments before your Will is finalised.

Your Second Appointment

At this meeting, we’ll present your final, professionally bound Will. We’ll review the contents together, ensuring you understand everything and are completely satisfied.

Once you’re ready, you’ll sign and date your Will in the presence of two independent witnesses, who will then also sign and date the document.

At this point, your Will is legally valid—congratulations!
